If you are a #PlannerAddict like myself, understanding the phrase ‘planner peace’ has a huge meaning. It has been 6 years and I’m finally getting there, smh! 🤦🏾♀️ LOL!😂🤣 What a crazy ride! I was recently asked about which planners were my ‘go to’ planners, so I decided to type up this quick post, well I hope it is quick! You know I get long winded sometimes, smh! LOL!
Plum Paper Planner
I started out with a Plum Paper spiral bound planner (pictured here ~> ) and my obsession grew and grew from there!🤷🏾♀️ As someone who spent many, many years in the education field, I was so use to ‘spiral bound’ things and using the Plum Paper Planner was so easy to adjust to. However, in using this particular planner, I found it hard to add pages and customize to my satisfaction. So I went out in search of another!The only problem was there were so many kinds at this point, making it very hard to choose. I truly got very overwhelmed at where to begin!
When I mentioned to a friend that I was wanting to try another planner, she suggested the Happy Planner by Me and My Big Ideas. And that’s what you will see me using the most these days!So I jumped right in and started with their Classic Happy Planner. In the picture below, it’s the largest one! Of course I took advantage of a 40% off store coupon, you know just in case, lol! I instantly fell in love with this disc-bound planner. What’s the best part? Well for me it was super easy to learn how to customize and I didn’t even need any special equipment. However, eventually I did purchase special equipment as I began making planner pages and customized planner covers and stickers for myself and so many others. 😊
After a while, the Classic planner got too bulky and I began thinking that it was too big for a grab and go to take with me where ever I went, so when they came out with the Happy Planner Mini, the medium sized one on the top left, I was ecstatic and it seemed to do the trick! Now the best part about this HP Mini you ask? I was more able to pop it in my purse, and it was so quick and easy for me to decorate and plan in it. I was cruising great with that planner, well UNTIL they came out with their SKINNY MINI planner!!! Omg!!! Omg! That’s how I felt! Now I am completely in love with my newest ‘on the go’ Skinny Mini!!🤩 You will see it in the picture above on the bottom. Next to it you will see the mini planner spread I specifically created for the purpose of my very first weekly layout plan in it. Of course you will notice tons of purple florals, lots of butterflies, and a Purple Diva in a butterfly gown!🥰 Remind you of someone?
