As many of you are already aware, October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This is a cause that is near and dear to my heart, as I am a domestic violence survivor and run my very own non-profit to help support victims and continue to spread awareness. Did you know that 1 in 3 women and 1 in 7 men will be victims of domestic violence in their lifetime? We have to do more!!!! That’s why we’re joining forces in saying, “I Can Help.” Join me, my Farfalla Foundation, Perfectly Posh, You Deserve It Foundation, The Alison Show with Alison Faulkner, and Fight Against Domestic Violence to raise awareness and help pamper domestic violence victims. Will you help us?
Our goal is deliver 20,000 Inspiration Bags filled with pampering Posh products and heartfelt notes of support, plus kits of essential supplies like blankets, sheets, and diapers to 20,000 victims located in 200 shelters across the USA. People who are affected by domestic violence are people like you and me, who also had hopes and dreams for their lives and right now, they truly need our help!
Perfectly Posh has committed to donating over $1 million retail value in product to fill the bags full of products to give these amazing women that are in shelters, something that may bring them just a little bit of joy by being able to pamper themselves as they are regaining their livelihood. We’re asking you for a small $5 donation, which sponsors the bag itself, shipping, and other essential supplies.
How can you help? Read below! We tried to make this as easy as possible to empower you to get involved and realize it isn’t that hard to show your support in the fight against domestic violence!
1.) For only $5 each, you can sponsor a bag and include a note to be received by a survivor.
2.) Once you’ve sponsored a bag, hit social media & share your story. We all know someone who has been impacted by domestic violence. Post why this cause is important to you with #icanhelp & #DiVA.

Let these women know they are not alone and that while they are dealing with their current struggles, there are others of us out there, (whether we have personally been victims or not), that truly do care! So what do you say, are you ready to help brighten the day of someone that is at an almost unimaginable low point in their life? Let’s do this together shall we?
If you do participate, please reach out to me and let me know!!! From the bottom of my heart, I thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
With heartfelt thanks,
Christina J. aka, your Purple Diva and 10 year Domestic Violence Veteran
