Hi! My name is Christina J.! You will read more about me in the pages to come! For right now I’ll give you a tiny introduction and a HUGE welcome to my Positively Purple Diva’s website! I am known as the Purple Diva because I am a veteran domestic violence survivor! I slowly started wearing purple to support my fellow survivors, those who are currently dealing with domestic violence and those who lost their lives because of it. Today you will rarely find me without some form of people on and that’s how I became known as the Purple Diva. The ‘diva’ part, well it’s not due to negativity, for sure! 😉 However, it mostly has to do with my confidence and not allowing anyone to steal my joy. I strive to achieve my dreams on my own terms and won’t allow obstacles to stand in my way of doing so. I am not a quitter that’s for sure. Basically, I march to the beat of my own drum and I refuse to allow the opinions of others to upset me. 🙂 Seriously, it is an amazing feeling, but it takes time to get there!
I started this page as a way to share my positive self-care messages beyond the confinement of my social media pages! As a domestic violence survivor and single mom to 4 sons, it took me a long time to get to a positive place in my life, as well as learn how important self-love and self-preservation truly is to your overall well-being. Once I pulled myself out of the deep, dark hole I was in, life truly changed for me! As I focused more on my wellness, a new ‘calling’ was upon me, entrepreneurship! I began my entrepreneurial career by sharing my knowledge of self-care (wellness) and guiding others towards a healthier life style by starting with the proper nutritional supplements. From there, I started my non-profit and began my journey towards being a life coach and mentor! Each and every day, I strive to help others with a variety of challenges, from organizational development, to leadership skills, to grief counseling (as needed), to life skills, and most importantly, wellness management.
